KHTS AM-1220 recently co-hosted the 2016 Santa Clarita City Council Candidate Forum in partnership with SCVTV and COC Cougar News, and residents can now watch the full video online.

Ten out of the 11 candidates in November’s race participated in the forum held Sept. 24, with five appearing in the first half and five in the second half.

Participating candidates included Kenneth Dean, Bob Kellar, Sandra Nichols, Cameron Smyth, Mark White, Timben Boydston, Alan Ferdman, Brett Haddock, David Ruelas and Paul Wieczorek.

The eleventh candidate, Matthew Hargett, did not respond to his invitation to participate.

KHTS News Director Perry Smith joined SCVTV’s Halie Cook and COC Cougar News’ Skylar Barti as panelists, and alternated presenting questions to the candidates throughout the forum.

SCVTV’s Leon Worden acted as the forum’s primary host.
