Senator Sharon Runner Announces District, Capitol Staff

Senator Sharon Runner, R-Lancaster, announced Wednesday who will be on her District and Capitol staff.

Vanessa Wilk, Field Representative – Vanessa most recently worked as the Club Director at Belcaro Valencia, a 55-plus active community. As Club Director she worked closely with the various clubs and committees, published the monthly newsletter, partnered with College of the Canyons to bring educational programs to residents and produced many special events. She and her husband also own Liaison Communications, a public affairs consulting firm. Vanessa will work in Senator Runner’s Santa Clarita Office.

Senator Sharon Runner Announces District, Capitol Staff-2Garth Eisenbeis, Chief of StaffGarth most recently served as Senator Mimi Walters’ Chief of Staff prior to her election to the House of Representatives. He previously worked for the Assembly Republican Caucus Office of Policy, Assembly Republican Leader Dave Cox and Assemblyman Bill Leonard. Garth will work in Senator Runner’s Capitol Office.

D. Everett Rice, Deputy Chief of Staff/Legislative Director – Everett most recently served as the Senator Sharon Runner Announces District, Capitol Staff-3Communications Director for Senator Mimi Walters, prior to her election to the House of Representatives. He has previously worked for a myriad of Legislators, including Senator Ray Haynes, Assemblyman Bruce Thompson, Senator Rob Hurtt, and Senator Jim Brulte. Everett will work in Senator Runner’s Capitol Office.

Senator Sharon Runner Announces District, Capitol Staff-4Donna Termeer, District Director – Donna most recently served newly elected Assemblyman Tom Lackey with the setup of district operations for the 36th Assembly District. Prior to that she served as Executive Director of the Antelope Valley Family YMCA and The Antelope Valley Board of Trade. She also previously served as District Director for Senator George Runner (Ret). Donna will work in Senator Runner’s Antelope Valley Office.

Capitol Office

Kendra Kruckenberg, Communications Director – Kendra most recently served as the Deputy Communications Director for Board of Equalization Vice Chair George Runner. She previously worked for Assemblyman Rocky Chávez, Senator George Runner and Senator Sharon Runner during her first term in the Senate.

Doria Wallentine, Legislative Aide – Doria has previously worked as a Scheduler and Legislative Assistant for Senator Tim Leslie, Assemblyman Tom Bordonaro and Assembly Republican Leader Jim Brulte.

Lindsey Dietz, Scheduler – Lindsey most recently served as the Scheduler  and Legislative Assistant for Assemblywoman Shannon Grove.

Charles Fennessey, Policy Consultant – Charles has worked as a consultant for  Senator Jim Nielsen, Senator George Runner, Senator Chuck Poochigian, Senator Ed Davis and Senator Tim Leslie. He also previously served as a Deputy Legislative Secretary for Governor Pete Wilson.

Antelope Valley District Office

Danny Bazzell, Field Representative – Danny is a veteran of the United States Army and currently serves as a director of the Edwards AFB Civilian Military Support Group. He also works as the organization’s community liaison to Edwards AFB.

Richard Cook, Field Representative – Richard most recently worked as Development Manager for Antelope Valley Hospital and currently serves on the Antelope Valley Sheriff Boosters, Antelope Valley Board of Trade and the Lancaster Cemetery District.

Emily Moulton, Office Manager – Emily most recently worked at the Antelope Valley Board of Trade advocating for business in the Antelope Valley.

Susan Soffa, Office Assistant – Susan most recently worked as a Constituent Services Representative for the United States House of Representatives. She has worked for the past three Members of Congress to represent the Antelope Valley, Congressman William M. Ketchum, Congressman William M. Thomas and Congressman Howard P. “Buck” McKeon.

Trena Shahla, Office Assistant – Trena most recently worked at Bright Horizons Family Solutions, providing children under her care an optimal environment by engaging and nurturing each child to promote their individual and developmental milestones.

Victor Valley District Office

Rebecca Tennison, Field Representative – Rebecca  most recently served as a District Representative for Senator Steve Knight prior to his election to the House of Representatives. She worked for Knight during his tenure in both the Assembly and Senate.

Elected in March 2015, Sharon Runner represents portions of Los Angeles and San Bernardino Counties as Senator for the 21st District. Her district includes the Antelope Valley, Victor Valley and portions of the Santa Clarita Valley.  For more information, visit the website.
