“I’m honored to recognize D’Wilfri as the Small Business of the Month,” Wilk said. “Ingrid and Willy donate much of their time and talent to benefit multiple nonprofits. Their services will continue to leave a positive impact on the community here in Santa Clarita and I look forward to seeing their continued success.”

D’Wilfri DanceArt and Entertainment opened its doors in 2009 as a dance studio that offers dance instruction through a variety of dance styles. Those styles include: American Smooth, American Rhythm, International Standard, International Latin, Waltz, Viennese Waltz, Rumba, Tango, Argentine Tango, Foxtrot and many more.

The owners, Ingrid Blanco and Willy Arroyo, are originally from Costa Rica and began working in the dance industry in Santa Clarita 11 years ago. Willy has a background in Business Administration and Engineering and Ingrid is a new board member for the SCV Chamber of Commerce. In 2014, Ingrid and Willy were nominated for the “40 Under 40” Awards.

“I want to thank Assemblyman Wilk for giving us this recognition. Thanks to our students; this couldn’t be possible without them. I’m happy because this is what I love to do, this is my passion and I don’t see myself doing anything different than motivating and coaching people through dance,” Ingrid said. “We’re thrilled to receive the Small Business of the Month from Assemblyman Wilk. Thank you to everyone who has supported us,” Willie added.
