More than 3,400 Edison customers lost power Wednesday morning due to high winds in the Sand Canyon area.
According to Edison spokesperson Anna Frutos-Sanchez, at 11:42 a.m. the Sand Canyon substation relayed that 3,403 customers had lost power. The cause may have been the wind causing tree branches in the area to compromise the wires.
