Power Outage Affects Wide Area Of SCV

Roughly 18,000 SCV Edison customers affected by a major power outage last nite.

The trouble began around 10:20 p.m. when a car slammed into a power pole on Bouquet near Saugus High School.  Southern California Edison officials say parts of Bouquet Canyon, Via Princessa, & Plum Canyon were affected.  Power was restored by 6 o'clock this morning. 

No word on the condition of the vehicle driver that caused the problem.
