School district offices, businesses affected by outage.
[view:node_ad=5] A wide spread power outage caused major traffic delays in Saugus and Canyon Country Thursday afternoon as Edison crews rushed to fix the problem, which knocked out power to businesses and street lights.
Initially, the areas affected went from west of Sierra Highway, north of Centre Pointe Parkway, east of Bouquet Canyon Road and south of Huffy Drive.
No cause was immediately known, but Edison crews worked to move lines and bring power back to the area.
Power was restored early Tuesday evening.
