A power outage near the Friendly Valley Golf Course was reported Friday at 4:05 p.m, affecting 244 customers.

Oak Garden Court, Winsom Circle, Oak Crossing Road, Oak Plaza Court and Flowers Court were impacted by the power outage.

Edison officials said that they were able to locate the problem that occured with a section of cables. The power outage lasted for one hour, power was restored at 5:05 p.m. Officials say they will be able to repair the cables without taking customers out of service.
