Problems began at 9:32 a.m. when wires in an underground vault failed, causing a to transformer blow up near the school on Catala Drive. Hot wires in the street and driveways of the school temporarily trapped staff and students at the school, but Edison crews switched power lines off for repairs and students were moved to Bouquet Canyon School for pickup.
2,100 customers were affected.
