Advanced Audiology will be offering this free community service on July 8-10 for anyone who would like to have their hearing screened.
In order to introduce the third generation of the world’s first and only 100 percent invisible, 24-7 hearing device Advanced Audiology blocked the three days off the schedule so that a Phonak/ Lyric factory representative will be available to answer all questions.
“They will get a free hearing screening and if it indicates that they may need help with hearing then they have the opportunity to try it out the hearing aid for 30 days with no obligation,” said Jennifer Ramos, marketing director for Advanced Audiology.
The American Medical Association now recommends that anyone over the age of 55 should have a hearing test on record.
“Our target audience is definitely toward the senior community, but the Lyric is definitely for the younger seniors,” Ramos said. “Even the 45-year-old who is working and does not want people to see the hearing aid while he’s working — it’s perfect for him.”
Updated hearing history on an annual basis helps the audiologist track changes in an individual’s hearing over the years. Hearing care professionals will then have the ability to see a trend with individual’s hearing, said Ramos.
Due to limited space on the schedule please call ahead to 661-253-3277 for an appointment.
