The Santa Clarita Valley Youth Project is celebrating 13 years of providing FREE services to teens. In the past decade, they have touched the lives of more than 29,000 youth and 5,000 adults. Active on six high school and four junior high schools in the William S. Hart District, the Youth Project provides more than 8,000 sessions of support to over thousands of youth in the Santa Clarita Valley with serious life challenges, including depression, suicide, grief/loss, peer pressure and drug/alcohol abuse, said Kim Goldman, Executive Director since 2005.

“The kids we work with are working so hard to make better choices and to learn better coping and communication. They are battling outside influences that distract them sometimes, and we are there to help keep them on track to a healthier lifestyle.” said Goldman. “As hard as it is, to see teenagers struggle, we are so honored that they keep coming back, asking for support. We hope we are making a difference.”
