The SCV Education Foundation is looking for future educators to participate in its annual Principal for a Day event.
Not only is this a free pass to visit a principal’s office without being punished, but it’s also a great opportunity to understand what it takes to run a local school.

From 9 a.m. to 1 p.m on February 11, participants will join an administrator at the public school of their choice and accompany this individual throughout their day.
Participants have the choice of following an elementary, junior or high school principal, a high school assistant principal, a district superintendent or a district assistant superintendent.
Now in its 19th year, the eye-opening program includes a special luncheon when superintendents Robert Challinor, Judy Fish, Jim Gibson, Robert Nolet and Marc Winger deliver the “State of Our Public Schools.”
