New patient tower benefits from donation.
A shot in the arm of medical care in the Santa Clarita and San Fernando valleys is fast approaching, as Providence Holy Cross officials announced this week that construction of their new patient tower is moving along on time and under budget.
Holy Cross Chief Executive Larry Bowe reported that the tower, which will house 101 patient beds along with a neonatal intensive care unit and women’s pavilion, is 43 percent complete.
The construction has been backed by a steady stream of donations through the Hospital’s “Care Can’t Wait” campaign.
The Swinerton foundation, the charitable arm of Swinerton Builders, has donated $100,000 to the campaign, as has Professional Imaging Medical Group. To date, Holy Cross has raised over $4.3 million for the new patient tower.
