Medical Center rated Top Hospital in State for Pulmonary Services
Mission Hills, CA (October 22, 2006) –Providence Holy Cross Medical Center is the recipient of three 2007 HealthGrades Excellence Awards for Stroke Care, Pulmonary Care and Gastrointestinal Care. Earlier this year, Providence Holy Cross received the 2006/2007 HealthGrades Specialty Excellence Award for Women’s Health. HealthGrades, the nation’s leading health care ratings company, also ranked Providence Holy Cross as the best hospital in California for overall pulmonary services. This acknowledgment follows the medical center’s recognition in 2003 as one of the Top 50 in the country for its excellent care with treating respiratory disorders, according to U.S. News & World Report magazine’s prestigious “America’s Best Hospitals” rankings.
