The Federal Bureau of Investigation has released photos of the “Faux Badge Bandit,” who is suspected of allegedly robbing a Wells Fargo branch in Canyon Country Friday.

The Faux Badge Bandit has been linked to four separate bank robberies in the Los Angeles area over the past several weeks, according to officials.
Deputies received reports from the bank about an armed robber around 11:30 a.m. Friday. The robber stole an undisclosed amount of money from the bank.
The Wells Fargo branch is located in the 26900 block of Sierra Highway, near the intersection of Via Princessa.

Officials with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station did not provide a detailed description of the suspect, who is believed to be a white man between the ages of 40 and 50.
