Coroner’s officials identified a man whose body was found behind a Canyon Country park in the wash, near the 26000 block of Reuther Avenue on Monday evening.

Leonard John Voeltner, 56, who was believed to be homeless, appeared to have died of natural causes.

The body was reported to the Sheriff’s Station shortly before 3 p.m. Monday in Canyon Country.

Homicide officials were not called to the scene to investigate the death, because deputies did not believe a crime occurred.

Coroner’s officials did not have the official cause of death as of Tuesday morning.
