The outage, centered around Copper Hill Drive and Tesoro Del Valle Drive, is estimated to be repaired by 3:30 p.m., according to Southern California Edison.
The cause of the power outage is unknown at the time, SoCal Edison officials said.
William S. Hart District officials have addressed the power outage, which caused both Valencia High School and Rio Norte Jr. High School to temporally lose power.
“Students are safe and there is no reason to pick up your child from school,” said district officials in a statement. “Both schools will remain open and instruction will continue.”
