Rain Slowly Exiting Santa Clarita

After nearly a week of wet weather, the end is near.

ImageSanta Clarita may be inching towards breathing a big sigh of relief, as the rain clouds seem to be on their way out of town.

Its been a solid week of relentless rain which caused pileups on the freeways, a day long closure of the I-5 through the Grapevine, flooding and mud slide threats.

Now, the forecast is predicting mostly clear skies with light scattered showers today and Wednesday.

The break in the wet weather should provide some relief to drivers, and to residents living in the burned areas, who have been living under mudslide fears.

Tune into AM-1220 during your commute to get up to the minute traffic updates rain or shine.
