Stanley Howse, otherwise known as Flesh-N-Bone in the rap group Bone Thugs-n Harmony, entered a not guilty plea Monday at the Santa Clarita Superior Court.
[view:node_ad=5]Howse was arrested April 2 in Canyon Country after Santa Clarita deputies stopped his vehicle for a traffic violation and reportedly found him to be in possession of a gun and marijuana.
The Los Angeles County District Attorney charged Howse with felony possession of a firearm by a felon, possession of ammunition, and misdemeanor possession of marijuana.
This is not the first brush with the law for Howse, who spent eight years in prison for threatening his neighbor with an AK-47 assault rifle. Since he has a prior conviction, he is being held without bail.
After making the not guilty plea before a judge on Monday, Howse was sent back to Twin Towers Correctional Facility where he will await preliminary trial proceedings on April 16.
