The program, which meets every Friday from 6 to 10 p.m., is focused on helping people struggling with “hurts, habits and hang-ups” to heal.
“Celebrate Recovery is a biblical and balanced program…,” said ministry leader Bill Rieser in a statement. “Based on the actual words of Jesus rather than psychological theory, our recovery program is unique…”
After dinner on Friday from 6 to 7 p.m., there will be an hour of worship music and teaching, an hour of small group sessions and a hour to meet and talk with people in Savia’s java and juice bar, Artisan.
“Bottom line, all of us have fallen short,” Rieser’s statement said. “And because of sin, we’ve all hurt ourselves, we’ve all hurt other people and others have hurt us. And we have the physical and emotional ‘scars’ to prove it… So, I want to personally invite you to join us this coming Friday as we kick off the new teaching season for Celebrate Recovery. If you do, you will find a family of fellow strugglers–where no ‘perfect people’ are allowed–at the door waiting for you.”
Childcare is available for infants through fifth graders.
Registration and childcare are free. Click here to sign up for the program.
