Recycle Fest Comes To North Park Elementary Saturday

Elementary school collecting e-waste to help fund student programs.

North Park Elementary
School is having a fundraiser of sorts, but instead
of cash, they’re asking for e-waste. From 9 a.m.
to 3 p.m. Saturday, bring your
electronic recyclables to the school at 23335 Sunset
Hills Drive in Valencia
and help celebrate “America Recycles Day.” 

Along with computers, monitors and TV sets, you can recycle
the following items:

  • Cell phones
  • Video game consoles
  • Video games
  • iPods
  • Digital cameras
  • Computer cables/ribbons/wires
  • Scanners
  • Video cards
  • Printers
  • DVDs
  • Laptop computers
  • PDAs
  • Printer cartridges
  • GPS devices
  • Power supplies
  • Radios
  • Hard/floppy disc drives
  • Modem/network/zip drives

 

Your donations will help the students and the environment. For
more information, call the school at 297-1476.
