Reward Offered for Information on 210 Freeway Shooter

The Board of Supervisors has unanimously approved a motion by Supervisors Michael D. Antonovich and Gloria Molina offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for the shooting on the eastbound Foothill (210) freeway near Mount Olive Drive in Irwindale.

 

On Saturday, July 9, at approximately 10:00 p.m., a shooting occurred on the eastbound Foothill (210) freeway near Mount Olive Drive at the intersection between Duarte and Irwindale.  An 18-year-old El Monte woman who was a passenger in a 2003 Nissan Altima sustained multiple gunshot wounds resulting from this crime.

 

Supervisor Antonovich encourages anyone with information to contact John Escobedo or Edmond Zorilla at the California Highway Patrol at (626) 338-1168.
