A motorcyclist speeding down the main drag of Newhall Tuesday afternoon came to an unfortunate stop when he ran into a parked vehicle and broke his leg.
William Pollay was riding along Newhall Avenue when, for unknown reasons, he hit a parked car. A deputy who had observed him traveling at a high rate of speed came upon the accident scene.
The broken leg wasn’t the worst part of the incident, though. Pollay was found to be in possession of methamphetamine, scales, burglary tools, stolen credit cards and identification information and $2,000 cash.
And the bike itself, a Suzuki GSXR, was stolen.
Pollay was taken to Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital for treatment of the leg and a shattered hip. He will be booked at the Santa Clarita Valley Station on suspicion of several felony charges once he is released from the hospital.
