Road Closures Set In Spunky Canyon Area

Road closures will facilitate completion of Edison project.

[view:node_ad=5] The U.S. Forest Service is closing two roads in the vicinity of Bouquet Reservoir in the Angeles National Forest from December 22, 2008, to December 21, 2009, to allow construction work on an electrical transmission line project.

The roads scheduled for closure are Leona Divide Road, from San Francisquito Canyon Road to Bouquet Canyon Road, and Spunky-Edison Road, from Spunky Canyon Road to Leona Divide Road.

The road closures are intended to protect public safety while construction proceeds on Southern California Edison's Antelope-Pardee 500-Kilovolt Transmission Line Project.

The Forest Closure Order detailing this closure is available on the Angeles National Forest website, http://www.fs.fed.us/r5/angeles/.
