Weather challenges force delay in work.
Planned overnight work on Soledad Canyon Road and McBean Parkway will be postponed, as nighttime weather conditions are expected to create challenges for the project.
The work is part of the City’s Asphalt Rehabilitation Project, which uses American Reinvestment and Recovery Act funds to mend local roads and make for a smoother ride.
The projects have been rescheduled to occur Sunday, November 1 (Soledad Canyon Road) and Monday, November 2 (McBean Parkway).
The City works on the roadways overnight to avoid heavy disruptions during the daylight commuter hours.
