Robbery Suspects At Large

A Granada Hills woman was attempting to deposit $40,000 in cash at the Union Bank in Newhall Monday morning at about 10 when a man punched her in the face and demanded the money and her wallet, and took the money….

The man ran across the street into a Toyota Corolla, which was driven by a second suspect.  Sheriff’s deputies searched, along with air unit assistance, for the suspects.  One man ended up being questioned, but no arrests were made.

Both suspects are hispanic men in their mid-20s.  One wore a black T-shirt and black pants, and the other had a dark baseball cap on.

This crime is still under investigation, and if you have any information, you’re asked to call the Santa Clarita Sheriff Substation at (661) 255-1121.
