The County of Los Angeles Department of Parks and Recreation, William S. Hart Park and the Santa Clarita Valley Rose Society will present the “Wild West Rose Show” at Hart Park’s Hart Hall on Saturday, Nov. 5 from 12:30 p.m. to 5 p.m.
This annual celebration of roses features a juried exhibition of hundreds of home grown roses, including miniatures, hybrids and fragrant roses. Trophies, ribbons, cash and gift certificates are rewarded in various classes.
Added this year to complement the event is the new non-juried “All Media Rose Art Show.” Artists are invited to display artworks in all media with no size or entry limitations, ranging from photography, painting, print media and sculpture to found objects in their representation of roses.
