Rowland Air Keeps it Cool in the Summertime

Rowland Air Heating and Air ConditioningIt’s summertime once again and the living is easy in the Santa Clarita Valley. Kids are out on their driveways playing basketball with their neighbors and families are making beach trips to get their feet in the sand. But what about those days when you are working inside or just simply feel like staying in? Time to turn on the air conditioner.

Family owned and operated, Santa Clarita Valley’s Rowland Air is the place for all heating and air conditioning installations, services, and repairs. They also provide preventive maintenance, which is essential to reducing breakdowns and maintaining optimal energy savings. This includes a 19-point inspection that includes, but is not limited to, changing filters, checking safety components in each system, and ensuring that all controls are set properly. Rowland Air carries all major central brand units, including Amana, Rheem, Goodman, Ruud, and Coleman. They have even been recognized as the Top Contractor for both the RUUD/Rheem and Goodman product lines. Priding themselves in personal customer service, Rowland Air has been serving the Santa Clarita Valley, San Fernando Valley, and Antelope Valley for the past 20 years.

They also take pride in their strong sense of responsibility. Owner Lawrence Rowland says, “I’d like to believe that we are different because we really push city permits. A lot of contractors won’t pull permits because it’s more work to ensure jobs are up to code, but it’s important because it ensures that the job is done safely and correctly. It is also required by state law and The City of Santa Clarita.”

Obtaining a permit for construction projects means that the project complies with the current zoning and building codes and more importantly, that an inspector from the building department will visit the site during various stages of construction. This way, the homeowner is comforted by the fact that the contractor has no way of cutting corners.

Rowland Air also encourages environmental responsibility through their participation in Flex Path. Flex Path contains a list of qualifying measures with various point values that homeowners can choose to install. If a homeowner installs two or more qualifying measures with a combined value of 100 points, they receive a $1,500 rebate issued by the County of Los Angeles. Qualifying measures includes installing crawlspace insulation, installing an ENERGY STAR* thermostat, or replacing your air conditioning system. According to Energy Upgrade California, by making such changes, you can “increase your home’s energy efficiency, improve comfort, and lower your utility bills.” Rowland Air is proud to be an Energy Upgrade Participating Contractor and will only be offering the Flex Path incentive this summer.

As for special summer deals, you can find Rowland Air coupons for repairs and system changes online at www.rowlandair.com or at the KHTS AM 1220 kiosk in the Westfield Valencia Town Center. They are also offering free air conditioner inspections for seniors (65+) and if maintenance is needed, it will only cost $49.
