Assemblyman Cameron Smyth hosted fundraiser for Presidential Candidate Rudy Giuliani
Former New York City Mayor and current candidate for the Republican nomination for President in 2008, Rudy Giuliani made his first stop in the Santa Clarita Valley as part of a California campaign swing during the afternoon of June 28th.
Hosted by California State Assemblyman Cameron Smyth, Mayor Giuliani attended a fundraiser to benefit his Presidential campaign at a private reception in Valencia.
“I firmly believe Mayor Giuliani is the most qualified candidate in the field and he represents the best opportunity to ensure the white house continues to be occupied by a Republican,” said Smyth. “His leadership and courage after September 11th, coupled with his record in New York clearly sets him apart from the rest of his highly qualified field of candidates.”

“I am extremely excited to bring Mayor Giuliani to Santa Clarita,” Smyth continues, “and show him one of the premier communities in California.
