AllysonFelix, who took home a gold medal yesterday in the women’s 200 meter race at the World Athletics Championships in Berlin, has won a second gold medal for the United States in the women’s 4×400-meter relay.
Felix ran the second leg of the race while Sanya Richards, the 400-meter champion, finished it out with a time of 3 minutes and 17.83 seconds.
Jamaica took second with a time of 3:21.15 while Russia claimed the bronze in 3:21:64.
Felix grew up in the Santa Clarita Valley and attended L.A Baptist High School before attending the University of Southern California.
