On Tuesday, Senator George Runner and College of the Canyons Superintendent-President Dr. Dianne Van Hook announced the passage of four important community college bills by the California State Legislature. During Tuesday’s announcement, Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger was urged to sign the legislation. 

 

These bills will provide College of the Canyons with more equalization dollars, more access to students and eliminate bureaucratic barriers for community colleges to build and acquire much-needed classrooms and facilities.
