Senator George Runner (R-Antelope Valley) announced Jackie Bick as the new Santa Clarita Valley field representative.

“Jackie will be a great asset and is ready to serve the residents in the Santa Clarita Valley.  She can help cut the bureaucratic red tape, interface between government agencies, and serve as an advocate for residents dealing with a difficult government agency.” 

Jackie Bick was first involved in public service when she volunteered for Congressman Buck McKeon (R-Santa Clarita).  She then went on to serve for six years with then-Assemblyman Runner in the Santa Clarita office.  Bick continued her public service with the late Senator William J. “Pete” Knight (R-Palmdale) in his Antelope Valley office for two years and now is working again with Senator Runner.

Bick has been married to Ernest T. Bick for forty years, is a mother of two daughters and a grandmother to four grandchildren with the fifth on the way.

Bick received her Bachelor’s of Science degree from Purdue University and moved to Santa Clarita in 1994.
