Sally Struthers To Headline Theatre Project Soiree

Salon Series to start May 18.

 

Award winning actress Sally Struthers will headline the first Sunday salon by the SCV Theatre Project of the 2008 season on May 18 at All Corked Up.

Struthers, known for her roles in “All In The Family” and “Gilmore Girls” and several live theater standout performances, will sing and share insights about her career with actors Christopher Youngsman and Julia Gregory at the fundraiser.

Struthers is a two-time Emmy Award and Golden Globe winner, known for her performance in the groundbreaking series “All In the Family,” which she followed with the CBS series “Gloria,” and the Fox series “9 to 5,” and also had recurring roles on CBS’s “Still Standing” and the CW’s “Gilmore Girls.”

She has appeared on Broadway in “Wally’s Café” with Rita Moreno and in Neil Simon’s “The Odd Couple” with Brenda Vaccaro and toured with the national companies of “Grease!” and “Annie.” Struthers also dedicates much of her time to help hungry and uneducated children across the globe and has received several humanitarian awards.
