Board Chairperson Gloria Mercado-Fortine expressed her ardent appreciation to the outgoing Chief Executive Officer Cheryl Laymon for her 16 years of dedicated service, according to a Samuel Dixon news release.
“The board and staff of SDFHC are thrilled to have attracted someone of Mattingly’s experience and background,” said, “and look forward to working with him to expand community health care services in the Santa Clarita Valley.”
SDFHC will be sponsoring a Welcome Reception for Mattingly on Feb. 8, from 5:30-8:30 p.m. at the Elks Lodge No. 2379.
This will be a great opportunity for the community to meet Chris Mattingly, and welcome him to the Santa Clarita Valley, the statement read.
SDFHC is a community-based, non-profit public benefit organization, committed to enhancing wellness by providing quality outpatient health care service and programs, health education, community resources, and referrals.
