On November 18, Thomas Schaller will be demonstrating his watercolor technique at this year’s Santa Clarita Artists’ Association (SCAA). The event will take place at 6:30 PM at the Barnes & Noble located at 23630 Valencia Boulevard.

Schaller began his artistic career in architecture and architectural art, and after 20 years, he is considered one of the foremost architectural artists in the world, winning every major award in his field, including two Hugh Ferris Memorial Prizes. Now, he is fully devoted to watercolor artwork and is in demand internationally to conduct his watercolor workshops, The Architecture of Light.
Schaller’s art is not only celebrated through awards, but through literature as well. His artwork has been featured in and graced the cover of numerous magazines around the world and will be recognized in Splash 13, Splash 14, and Splash 15; a collection of watercolor paintings by North Light Books.

Along with his multiple awards and magazine appearances, Schaller has also authored two books: The Art of Architectural Drawing and the best selling and AIA Award of Merit winner, Architecture in Watercolor.
Today, Schaller’s work is represented by the RS Hanna Gallery in Fredericksburg, Total Arts Gallery in Taos, the Sharp Gallery in Seattle, and the Carter-Sexton Gallery in Los Angeles.
