Santa Clarita teenage band, KIKstart, plans to perform at the Santa Clarita Street Fair on Dec. 21 in support of Red Cross relief efforts in helping victims of Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines.

All proceeds from KIKstart merchandise sales at the event will be donated to the Philippine Red Cross. For more information on the Philippine Red Cross, click here.
KIKstart plans to perform cover songs of current artists as well as Christmas music as part of the live entertainment for the monthly Santa Clarita Street Fair.
The street fair occurs the fourth weekend of every month at the College of the Canyons stadium parking lot on the corner of Valencia Blvd. and Rockwell Canyon Rd.
Open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, the fair is free to enter and features local vendors, food trucks, and live entertainment.
Band members will be available to take phoographs and autograph official merchandise purchased at the event.
The band plans to donate profits from the merchandise sales to the Philippine Red Cross in order to assist with typhoon relief by providing health, social, and disaster relief services to those affected by the typhoon.
KIKstart is a three-piece band composed of three 14-year-old girls from Santa Clarita.
Their members are all currently 9th grade students at Albert Einstein Academy in Valencia.
KIKstart first performed together at Santa Clarita’s Relay for Life opening ceremony in May where they performed in support of the American Cancer Society.
