Soothing Eyes, created by a local entrepreneur to cut down on spa stress and ease eye pain, is gaining momentum after an appearance on My Cool Invention Radio, founder Nancy Brunetti-Blomquist said recently.

Brunetti-Blomquist created Soothing Eyes two years ago, gradually building her business that crafts the comforting eye covers.

Most recently Brunetti-Blomquist was featured on MyCoolInventionsRadio.com, an online TV and radio network that is dedicated to discovering new products and helping entrepreneurs spread the word and having their audience vote for their favorite product on Facebook.

Brunetti-Blomquist delivered her “pitch” to a national audience explaining how the reusable, individual eye covers are made from medical grade platinum-cured silicone, designed to protect eyes from direct sunlight or any bright lights. Since her most recent media appearance, the business has seen a growth in sales and an “increased sales with spas and an increase wholesale, versus selling individually,” she noted.

KHTS did a piece on Brunetti’s invention and since then her business has not only grown in the U.S, but internationally as well making sales in Canada and Australia.

This rise in popularity gave way to the product being considered for the Home Shopping Network company to pick up.
