Santa Clarita Establishes A Latino Chamber Of Commerce

khts_inthecommunity2The Santa Clarita Valley Latino Chamber of Commerce will celebrate their Grand Opening and Installation of the Board of Directors on June11.

“We are very excited to launch the SCV Latino Chamber of Commerce to provide much-needed resources to our Latino community,” said Bob Pacheco, SCV Latino Chamber Board President.   “We will partner up with many entities to provide a one-stop shop for our community’s business needs.”

The mission statement of the nonprofit organization, founded in 2010, is “To promote the success and prosperity of Hispanic business owners and professionals and to contribute to the well-being of the Santa Clarita Valley community.”

The celebration is free and starts at 6 p.m.

The SCV Latino Chamber is an affiliate of the California Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, which boasts over 65 chapters and represents the interests of over 720,000 Hispanic-owned businesses in the State of California.
