Santa Clarita Football Preview To Air Monday

khts_sportsKHTS Sports staff takes a close look at the local football scene.

Santa Clarita is just a few weeks away from the start of the local High School and College of the Canyons football seasons, and to help set the stage for what is sure to be a dramatic fight for first place, KHTS AM-1220 will be broadcasting a special football preview show.

On Monday, August 24th at 7:00 p.m. KHTS Sports personalities Jason Galvin, Tim Haddock and Joe Soriano will weigh in on each local football team and talk about what to watch for.

Joining them in studio will be the newest faces in the foothill league; 1st year coaches Andy Campbell (Golden Valley) and Sean O’Brien (West Ranch). Hart quarterback CJ Reyes will also be on hand for the broadcast, along with other special guests.

Will the Valencia Vikings be the team to beat this year? How will the Canyon Cowboys stack up? Can the Saugus Centurions rebound after losing two major playmakers? Will this be a break out year for the Golden Valley Grizzlies?  Can the West Ranch Wildcats put in a serious bid for the foothill league title? Can College of the Canyons again be state champions?  These questions and more will all be addressed on the one hour preview show.

A podcast of the program will be available on within 24 hours of the original airing.

Also, be sure to check out the complete football broadcast schedule to see which games KHTS AM-1220 will air live during the season. That information can be found at:
