About Castaic's high school students. What do you think?

KHTS had Hart School District Superintendent Jaime Castellanos on the air to speak about overcrowding at West Ranch High School.

The 400 Castaic students that come out of middle school each year have been going to West Ranch since it was built. Now, due to overcrowding issues, the next two years worth of students will go to Valencia High (where they were sent before West Ranch was built).

After that, the following two classes of incoming freshmen will go to West Ranch.

A new high school in Castaic will hopefully be built by 2010, and so after that, students would go directly there.
