Santa Clarita July Fourth Parade Lineup

4th_July_Parade_WD__0006The 2011 Santa Clarita Fourth of July Parade starts at 9 a.m. at Hart Park, travels down Main Street to Lyons, turns left, goes to Orchard Village Road, makes a right, then turns right on 16th Street, disbanding at Newhall Park.

 

For the first time in several years, there will be an all-high school marching band, the Santa Clarita Valley Unifed Marching Band.

And the parade’s grand marshall can’t be missed: dozens and dozens of women marching to celebrate the centennial of women’s right to vote in California (and the 91st anniversary of the 19th Amendment, which gave the right to women nationwide).
