Santa Clarita Opens New Lap Swim Program

The City of Santa Clarita
is offering an additional lap swim class at the Santa Clarita Pool on Tuesdays
and Thursdays from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The program, created to accommodate
the growing number of community members wishing to swim, will be available
through March 26, 2009.

[view:node_ad=5]The lap swim program provides for healthy, relaxed exercise
for individuals without the impact on joints that normally accompanies
strenuous physical activity. Children wishing to attend the class need to be at
least 8 years of age and accompanied by an adult.

 

The program is $3.00 to attend and the pool is heated to a
comfortable 80 degrees.

 

Residents wishing not to pay on a per-visit basis may
purchase an aquatics lap swim membership card, available at
santa-clarita.com/seasons.
