We’ve made it to the home stretch, just ten days out from Opening Day.
Which means it’s time for the top ten reasons the Dodgers will win the World Series, starting with a fan favorite at No. 10:
The Food
Two words: Dodger Dog.
There are few things as timeless as baseball itself, and one of them is the food at Dodger Stadium. Stadium food doesn’t get any better than the spread of classic items and trending creations that executive chef Ryan Evans and his team have for the 2018 season.
You can’t beat a Dodger batting helmet full of nachos, but there are some new options this season that are in line with the current trends in L.A. dining, specifically the growing popularity of vegetarian and vegan dishes.
“A lot of what we do is we get our feedback both from fans and from our Twitter [@ladexecchef and @dodgerstadiumfood] … a lot of people will just write us and ask us questions, give us comments, both good and bad about what they’d like to see and what they loved when they were here,” said Dodgers executive chef Ryan Evans. Evans is the man responsible for bringing in new flavors to Dodger Stadium and allowing for fans to have a variety of options at the games.
New items such as the Portobello Mushroom Veggie Sandwhich, a new and improved spicy elote (which is covered in ground hot cheetos) and much more.
Los Angeles Dodgers food will keep fans happy and players full, doing its part in the run to the 2018 World Series.
It’s been 30 years since the Dodgers last World Series triumph in 1988. In honor of the ’88 team and respect for the championship-caliber 2018 club, we present our “30 IN 30” Spring Training series: 30 reasons why the Dodgers can win the World Series in 2018. We’ll count down from No. 30 to No. 1 every day up to Opening Day against the San Francisco Giants at Dodger Stadium.
