Bryan Herta Autosport Will Enter Indianapolis 500

Bryan Herta Autosport, owned in part by Valencia resident and Hart High graduate Bryan Herta, will enter this year’s Indianapolis 500 with driver Sebastian Saavedra.

Saavedra will drive for Bryan Herta Autosport in the Firestone Indy Lights Series in 2010. Saavedra is one of two drivers who will compete in the Indy Lights series for the team. Stefan Wilson, the yonger brother of IndyCar Series driver Justin WIlson, is the other driver for Bryan Herta Autosport.

 

In the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, Ron Hornaday Jr. has a new crew chief. Doug George was moved from the No. 2 truck for Kevin Harvick Inc. to Hornaday’s No. 33 truck and will be Hornaday’s crew chief.

Hornaday, a four-time Truck Series champion, won last year’s Truck Series championship and has won a Truck Series record 45 races.
