Tournament attracts more than 1,500 kids.
The City of Santa
Clarita’s Youth Basketball Program competed in
the league championships at Hart High
School on March 14.
More than 1,500 local youth participated in the City league, which
emphasizes sportsmanship, skill development and fun in a positive
recreational environment.

Community
youth showcased their athletic talent as they fought their way through
the competitive games. When the dust settled on the court, the Clippers (Major I), Nets (Major II), Mystics (Major/Senior Girls) and Warriors
(Senior Boys) came out winners. A few games came down to the wire, with
the Major/Senior Girls and Senior Boys division champions determined by
baskets made in the final seconds of each game.
