Choreographer Ray Jasper Trains SCV All-Star Cheerleaders

SCV All-Star’s senior black cheerleaders were busy this holiday season working with Ray Jasper, considered one of the sport’s finest choreographers.

Jasper won Choreographer of the Year at the Cheerleading Worlds event. In addition to being one of the most sought-after choreographers in cheerleading, Jasper’s accolades include choreographer for the film “Bring It On” and “Motocrossed” for the Disney Channel.

He is also a speaker internationally. Based in Valencia, SCV All-Stars are in its 11th year and considered a top-tier, all-star cheerleading program on the West Coast.

Connie and her husband, John, moved to the Santa Clarita Valley almost 30 years ago. Living in Santa Clarita for that long is the direct opposite of Connie’s childhood. She was an Army ‘brat’ who moved every two to three years. Consequently, she has lived in many states and even spent three years in Europe. All three of her kids went to Santa Clarita schools.
