The CIF Southern Section girls soccer playoffs begin today with Hart facing El Dorado in a Division II wild card match.

Hart, the fourth-place team in the Foothill League, earned an at-large bid to the playoffs. El Dorado is the third-place team from the Century League. The winner will face Yucaipa, the winner of the Citrus Belt League.
The girls Division II soccer playoffs resume on Thursday with Foothill League co-champion Canyon playing the winner of the Montclair/Burroughs of Burbank wild card game. Valencia, which shares the Foothill League title with Canyon, hosts Arcadia of the Pacific League and Saugus will travel to Palmdale to play Highland of the Golden League.
In the first round of the Division VI playoffs, the Santa Clarita Christian girls soccer team will face Schurr, the first place team from the Almont League.
On the boys side, West Ranch hosts Cabrillo of Lompoc and Golden Valley will play Lompoc in the wild-card round of the Division III playoffs on Wednesday. West Ranch is the third-place team from the Foothill League and Golden Valley earned at at-large bid. The winner of the Golden Valley/Lompoc game will face Anaheim, the top-seeded team in Division III playoffs and winners of the Orange League. The winner of the West Ranch/Cabrillo game will play Montclair, champions from the Mt. Baldy League.
Canyon, the Foothill League champions, will play Lynwood of the San Gabriel Valley League and Saugus will play Paramount, the San Gabriel Valley League champions, in the first round of the Division III playoffs on Friday.
