CIF Southern Section Baseball And Softball Playoff Brackets Announced

Four Santa Clarita Valley baseball teams and five softball teams earned playoff berths in the CIF Southern Section postseason brackets. Here is the full schedule:

Baseball

Division I

Oaks Christian (13-13) vs Valencia (14-16)*

West Ranch (19-9) vs 6 Mira Costa (27-3)

Los Alamitos (19-11) vs 9 Hart (19-12)

*Wild Card to be played Wednesday, May 16

Division VI

Santa Clarita Christian (8-10) vs El Monte (12-9)

Game is on Thursday, May 17 at 3:15.

Division VII

Valley Christian Academy (6-6) vs 3 Trinity Classical Academy (14-3)

Unless specified, all first round games are on Friday, May 18.

Softball

Division I

Saugus (19-9) vs Camarillo (22-4)

Vista Murrieta (16-7) vs 9 Valencia (24-7)

Division III

Alemany (14-10) vs 3 Golden Valley (18-4)

Division VII

Trinity (5-7) vs St Mary’s Academy (13-5)

Winner of Burbank/Norwalk vs Santa Clarita Valley International (10-3)

The first round is on Thursday, May 17.
