White earned a scholarship to continue her basketball career at the college in Stockton.
“Arielle
played an important role in our success over the past two seasons and
showed dramatic progress this season, when she emerged as one of the
best guards in the Western State Conference,” said COC head coach Greg
Herrick. “I believe she can help the University of the Pacific program
solidify their guard play and will help them become more athletic at
that position."
She averaged 10.2 points and 2.8 assists per game in her sophomore season, earning all-conference honors. She was on two conference championship teams at COC and helped the team compile a 44-19 record in two seasons.
The University of Pacific plays in the Big West Conference. The team was 14-16 last year and finished fourth in conference with an 8-8 record.
White is the 25th women's basketball player under Herrick to earn a scholarship.
