The College of the Canyons women’s soccer team shut out Golden West College, 2-0.
Leilani Konrad scored both goals for the Lady Cougars. She scored her first goal in the second minute of the game. Her second game came in the 72nd minute.
COC goalkeeper Katherine Koury made four saves to record the shutout. The COC women improved to 3-1.

The Master’s College women’s soccer team cracked the NAIA top 25 for the first time this season after opening with a 6-0 record.
The Lady Mustangs are ranked No. 20 after beating La Verne, 5-2, and Corban of Oregon, 3-0, last week. The Master’s College women lead the NAIA with six wins and are one of seven teams in the top 25 without a loss.
In college volleyball, The Master’s College women dropped 13 spots to No. 22 in the NAIA rankings after losing to two unranked teams last week.
The Lady Mustangs are 10-2 after losing to Davenport from Michigan and Menlo College.
In college golf, The Master’s College men finished in fourth place at the Mid-South Invitational at Sand Creek Station Golf Course in Newton, Kan.
Thane Ringler shot the low score for The Master’s College and finished in sixth place with a 6-over 222 in the three-round tournament.
In baseball, the Dodgers beat the Arizona Diamondbacks, 5-3, in extra innings to win their second game in a row.
Scott Van Slyke hit a two-run home run in the 11th inning.
