With only a couple days left before spring semester classes begin at College of the Canyons, over 5,000 seats remain available in nearly 700 classes.

Although school begins Monday, students can enroll in classes anytime through Friday, Feb. 21 at the Valencia Campus, Canyon Country Campus and online.

Career-Oriented Classes: Many classes are career-oriented, offering training in technical and other fields that lead directly to employment. Career Technical Education courses that have class openings include Welding, Water Technology, Land Surveying, Solar Technology, Plumbing Technology, Medical Lab Technician, Hotel/Restaurant Management, Geographic Information Systems, Construction Technology, Computer Information Technology, and many more.

Transfer Classes: The college also has space in some of the most popular subjects needed to transfer to four-year colleges and universities, such as Sociology, Spanish, Psychology, Political Science, Math, History, Geology, Geography, English, and Economics.

ESL Classes: In addition, the college is offering a broad range of English as a Second Language classes designed to meet the needs of all students, whether they are starting to learn English, or need to hone their English skills.
